1998 Beneficial Use Determination Ordinance

After failing to obtain state approval for a BUD ordinance implementing the 1996 Comprehensive Plan provision in 1997, County Attorney Jim Hendrick prepared Ordinance 21-1998 with an eye on limiting BUD relief to landowners who had been "wiped out" by the County's land development regulations. Ordinance 21-1998 became effective September 12, 1998, and remained in effect for 10 years.
