red ball December 23, 2009 - Sutton v Monroe County. In Sutton v. Monroe County, although the 3d DCA panel  (especially Senior Judge Alan Schwartz) telegraphed their feelings about Ms. Sutton's case, we were disappointed with the panel's decision. On January 6, 2010, we filed a Motion for Rehearing with the 3d DCA. That motion was denied May 25, 2010, and we filed a certiorari petition with the Florida Supreme Court June 24, 2010.

red ball September 17, 2009. We served the Reply Brief -- finishing it at 3:00 AM -- so we could pack and catch a flight to London at 6:00 PM., then on to Venice. The Third DCA had already set oral argument for November 10, 2009.

red ball August 25, 2009. Monroe County served its Answer Brief.

red ball June 5, 2009. We served the Initial Brief in the appeal, Sutton v. Monroe County, to the Third District Court of Appeal.

red ball December 6, 2007. Circuit Judge Luis Garcia entered a Final Judgment dismissing Sutton v. Monroe County on statute of limitation grounds.
